Guanxi (pronounced “guan-shee”) is a game currently being made by Darkroot, Fluidvolt, and ProfessorOak. Darkroot is the lead programmer, ProfessorOak is the lead artist, and Fluidvolt is the lead musician.

The general idea of this game is about the little adventurer that runs around doing deeds for his fellow villagers. His village is comprised of separate islands, that are linked with bridges. There really is no winning, it’s basically just to have fun adventuring. – ProfessorOak

As said above Guanxi is a game where you are an adventurer that goes around doing deeds for fellow villagers. You really can’t win this game, you just go around helping people and being awesome.

Guanxi means,

In traditional Chinese society, you would build up good guanxi by giving gifts to people, taking them to dinner, or doing them a favor, but you can also use up your guanxi by asking for a favor to be repaid.
